Where I work, we have a problem with not having enough space for everyone. I've managed to slip by and have my own office for almost two years now (pretty much everyone up to five years of employment is sharing an office), but I recently got an officemate. Here's the thing. Her cell phone "crows" when someone calls. You know...cock-a-doodle-doo.
Sigh.

I used to live in a building that had "Open Office Architecture" (glorified cubicles), and there was this really good looking guy on my team whose GF wanted to talk to him ALL THE TIME. This was fine, except when he went to, for instance, the gym and left his phone. One day I got tired of her trying to catch him EVERY 5 MINUTES, so I dug through his desk and found some ace bandages and mummified his phone. He said, "Why didn't you just turn it off?" I said, "No one would have thought that was funny."
